Sarah graduated from EMU in 2004 in Music Therapy. She witnessed God do a miracle through her as a freshman, and it challenged her to step out in her faith seeing how big God’s heart was for those around her. With a sense of calling, she started leading the very ministry that God used to grow her as a student in 2006. She has an awesome husband and 4 incredible kiddos. Sarah loves people, singing, laughing, seeing her kids flourish, and pretending she is not as old as she really is.

Daniel Jackson
Founder of Awaken Ministries

Daniel had an encounter with Jesus when he was 19 and it radically changed the trajectory of his life. He founded Awaken Ministries with a passion to see every person and every aspect of our communities and cities transformed and made whole. He desires to be part of a movement that is dedicated to the transformation, development, and advancement of our local communities and cities to the Glory of God. Daniel loves books, traveling, snorkeling, and relaxing with his family on a yacht in the Caribbean.

Alex graduated from EMU in 2021 with Secondary Ed in Integrated Science. She found a new love for Jesus and campus ministry while at EMU and has dedicated time after college to give back and care for students. Alex loves adventure, kids, cooking, helping others, and a good walk on campus.
